CHARACTER SKETCH OF BETHANY HAMILTON

Ø  Bethany Hamilton is a professional surfer, motivational speaker and writer.

Ø  She lost her arm in a shark attack when she was just 13 years old.

Ø  In spite of the tragedy, she learned to surf again with one arm.

Ø  Her life is a powerful example of a woman’s ability to adjust, adapt, and succeed in the face of adversity.

CHARACTER SKETCH OF NEERJA BHANOT

Ø  Neerja Bhanot, a 22-year-old flight attendant, was a true hero on Pan Am flight 73.

Ø  During a hijack in 1986, she into action, helping passengers escape through emergency exits. She couldn’t save herself, but she prioritized others.

Ø  Neerja shielded passengers, especially children, with her own body as the hijackers opened fire.

Ø  Despite the chaos, she stayed calm and saved passengers were evacuated safely.

Ø  Her selfless act saved many lives, but she lost her own.

Ø  Neerja’s courage and sacrifice make her a genuine hero.

Ø  Her legacy lives on as a symbol of bravery and humanity.

Ø  The imagery of snow, ice, and storms beautifully represents Elsa’s emotions and struggles.

THE INK AND THE MELODY

Ø  Joseph Barbera about his experience working with the famous singer Michael Jackson.

Ø  Barbera was working as a creative consultant on the Tom and Jerry movie when Jackson contacted him in 1992.

Ø  'Jackson loved cartoons very much and wanted to discuss working on a project together.

Ø  During their first meeting, Barbera showed Jackson how he drew the famous cartoon characters by making several sketches.

Ø  Jackson was very impressed and watched over his shoulder.

Ø  They traded autographs, and Jackson wrote a very touching message calling Barbera his "hero" for giving him cartoon friends during his childhood.

Ø  Barbera found the singer to be a very relaxed, polite, and "courteous gentleman".

Ø  Even though the business executives did not want to make a deal with the star, Barbera truly enjoyed their delightful meetings.
